Description
Dimensions: 46 1/2?H x 46 1/2?W x 23 1/2?D
An extraordinary oak chest of drawers from the mid-17th century, England. Remarkable craftsmanship was employed when making this amazing piece. Wonderfully carved details can be found all over this antique chest. Above the top two drawers are carved dentil embellishments, while the door and drawer fronts have been dressed with panels carved with a geometric design. The six knobs are carved into an octagonal shape. The two large doors open to reveal two more large drawers, each outfitted with their original iron ring pulls. An incredible piece, that is in astonishing condition, given its young, spry age of nearly 370 years. -
