Description "Segment Cabinet," a dynamic brutalist work in textured, polychromed and bronzed steel by Des Moines, Iowa artist James Bearden. The vertical rectangular cabinet, echoing the most graphically sculptural designs of Paul Evans, is perched atop four long legs; it has a hinged front door and three wooden shelves inside. Bearden's work was featured in a 2017 solo exhibition at the NY Design Center titled "James Bearden: Life in Steel;" in an article in the January 2017 Interior Design Magazine; in an introspective feature; and in a feature article in DSM Magazine, a Des Moines publication.
