Description
A '1748' model ceiling light designed by Max Ingrand and artist Duilio Barnabé for Fontana Arte in 1957. A tapered, polished brass central stem supports a thick, freeform shaped 'acidato' glass diffuser. This diffuser has six 'scalpellato' or chiselled glass areas within it that are aligned and positioned next to the lamp holders hidden in the fitting above. The polish-beveled edges in the glass also diffuse the light to stunning effect. An exquisite and important piece produced by the best minds at this renowned Milanese Company.
