Description
A pair of very rare armchairs by Gunnar Asplund, designed for the Göteborg Law Courts (1934-37). Asplund designed the Law Courts as an annex to the Göteborg city hall. The building was furnished by Asplund in collaboration with Carl-Axel Acking. The chairs have a cherry wood frame with the original dark blue, buttoned skai upholstery.
We also have six similar chairs, but without armrests, two in stone grey and four with a light green upholstery, available at Bloomberry. -
