-
Description
Sculptural set of ten (10) mid-century Danish dining chairs, handcrafted by Harbo Sølvsten & Knud Andersen, I. C. A. Jensen, Aarhus, Denmark, 1956. Model KA120, characterized by their sculpted curved backs and exposed joinery, are entirely handcrafted from solid old-growth teak and feature beautiful horizontal joinery in the backs, raised on elegantly tapered legs. The seats have been fully reupholstered with new foam, covered in a fine Scandinavian wool textile of woven blues and greens, resulting in a teal color. The wood has been properly restored using period-accurate finishing techniques. The chairs are in excellent condition with minor signs of age-appropriate use.
