LOVE Brooch A. Cipullo

Sold Sold
  • Description
Presented here is an iconic LOVE brooch, designed by Aldo Cipullo, considered by many one of the greatest designers that worked for Cartier. After arriving in the USA from Italy in 1959, his talent was quickly recognized and he was hired by Tiffany & Co. as well as David Webb. He joined Cartier in 1969 and created the Love bracelet and the Juste un Clou Nail collection, which remain just as popular today as it was then. He established his own atelier in 1974. This is his version of the Love Pin he designed for Cartier ( see separate listing in 18K yellow gold) only this time, it is executed in 18K white gold with diamonds and a carved coral heart. Subtle yet powerful, the message is clear. Great things come in small packages!

It measures just slight of one inch long and almost half inch high and weighs 3.0 dwt or 4.7 g.
