Oil on artist board painting by the British artist, Frederick Rushing Roe. Signed lower left. Excellent condition. Original gold leaf frame in fine condition. Overall 15.25 by 13 inches. Provenance: Saint Louis estate.
Frederick Roe, son of artist Robert Henry Roe, was a British painter who painted genre scenes, portraits and landscapes. He exhibited at the Royal Academy of Art in London in 1887 and his work is represented in the National Portrait Gallery in London. -
